YEAR END FUNRAISER VIDEO!
Enjoy our 2023 year-in-review video HERE. As one of the most active cat rescues in the NYC area, we are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and adopting out homeless and abandoned cats, with a focus on city shelter and community animals. Donations fund routine care such as spay/neuter surgeries as well as more complicated medical needs. Your generosity helps these cats replace pain and despair with healing and hope. NEW FOSTER PARENTS WANTED!
We saved more than 460 cats last year and want to help many more this year. In particular, we want to save more kitties from the city shelters. We can only do this with the help of foster/caregivers able to care for a cat that will need some medication and patience to help him heal. If interested in fostering a kitty that needs extra TLC please email foster@anjelliclecats.com.
Not able to foster? Please consider making a monthly donation. Every cat we take in needs some level of medical care. It is such a wonderful gift to help a cat that was once sick and scared become the healthy, happy kitty he was meant to be. In Honor of Mary & Magnificat Rescue
Everyone at Anjellicle Cats Rescue was heartbroken when Mary Eliot, the director of Magnificat Cat Rescue, passed away in September 2021.
A tireless advocate for kitties in need, Mary saved countless sick and abandoned animals over the past decade and never hesitated to help a fellow rescuer. In honor of Mary and all the felines she saved with Magnificat, Anjellicle Cats has taken responsibility for the kitties in their care, past and present.
Going forward, the microchips will trace back to Anjellicle Cats.
Also any cats adopted through Magnificat that need to be rehomed/returned in the future should contact Anjellicle Cats.

OUR MISSION
Anjellicle Cats Rescue (ACR) is an all-volunteer registered 501c3 cat rescue committed to helping make New York a no-kill city. As one of the most active cat rescues in the 5 boroughs, ACR is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and adopting out homeless and abandoned cats, with a focus on shelter and community animals. Many of these felines are sick, injured or dismissed as unadoptable. Through a coalition of volunteers and caregivers, each rescued cat is welcomed with kindness and medical care into a foster home to prepare it for adoption into a permanent, loving home. Anjellicle Cats Rescue believes that no animal should be ill-treated and strives toward a day when awareness, education and compassion have replaced euthanasia as a solution to companion animal overpopulation.
Our goal is to help make New York City a no kill city.
